NONPROFIT BRANDING

CASE STUDY
CHRONIC PAIN ADVOCACY CAMPAIGN FOR NATIONAL PHARMACEUTICAL CLIENT

Oxygen Design collaborated with the Community Affairs Department of a leading pharmaceutical company to conceptualize, design, and implement a comprehensive branding and communications strategy addressing the issue of chronic pain.

At the heart of the campaign was the creation of a signature brand identity, In the Face of Pain,” featuring a custom illustration that visually conveyed the campaign’s focus on compassion, visibility, and advocacy for individuals living with chronic pain. This distinctive visual brand served as the foundation for a suite of high-impact tools and materials developed to support patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and community advocates.

Key deliverables included:

• Advocacy Toolkit – A print and digital resource distributed to healthcare providers and community partners, offering clear, accessible information and strategies to raise awareness and promote effective pain management practices.

• Branded Online Ads – Designed and developed to reflect the campaign’s new visual identity, this digital platform expanded the reach of the initiative, offering ongoing access to content, downloads, and advocacy resources.

• Print Collateral – Including the “Handbook for People with Pain,” a user-friendly guide created to help patients understand treatment options, communicate with healthcare providers, and find supportive resources.

Each element of the campaign was tailored to reinforce the brand’s compassionate tone, align with healthcare compliance standards, and foster deeper engagement with underserved audiences. The project successfully unified messaging across platforms and elevated the client’s commitment to public health advocacy in the chronic pain space.
