MUSEUM EXHIBITS

CITY OF NORWALK, CT
NORWALK QUILT TRAIL

The Norwalk Quilt Trail was a city-wide collaborative exhibition celebrating the artistry, cultural heritage, and personal history represented in traditional quilting. Curated by Laura Macaluso, PhD, in partnership with the Norwalk Historical Society, the exhibit invited the public to contribute heirloom quilts, each accompanied by personal narratives that added emotional depth and historical context.

Oxygen Design led the creation of a unified exhibit identity system across multiple museum and historic venues in Norwalk, Connecticut. Our work included the visual branding, website, print marketing materials, event advertising, venue signage, exhibit banners, posters, and descriptive labels that tied the project together across locations.

By integrating strong visual storytelling and community voices, the Norwalk Quilt Trail not only showcased the craft of quilting but also wove together a broader narrative about the region’s families, traditions, and generational legacies.
