INTERPRETIVE SIGNAGE
CITY OF STAMFORD, CT
VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK
Following a years-long effort to redesign and revitalize a cherished downtown public space in the city of Stamford, CT, Oxygen Design was tasked with designing interpretive signage to help the park’s visitors understand the historic significance of the site, as well as bringing attention to and honoring Stamford’s veterans and their sacrifices made during our nation’s conflicts.
Oxygen Design collaborated with curator Daryn Reyman-Lock, PhD of Sawdust and Strata to illuminate the evolution of the park site over time, and to highlight each branch of the U.S. military, along with selected Stamford residents who served in both civilian and military capacities.
